How to Enrich a CSV with Phone Numbers in 2026 (No API Required)
Step-by-step guide to adding verified mobile phone numbers to any B2B contact list. Upload a CSV, get phones back, no coding needed. Works with professional profile URLs, full names, or company data.
On this page
Most B2B contact lists come out of the box with names, company names, professional profile URLs, and no phone numbers. Adding verified mobile phones used to mean either paying a per-seat tool for every rep or hiring a developer to hit an API.
In 2026, there’s a simpler path: upload your CSV, get phones back.
Here’s how to do it with Datagma’s file enrichment.
What You Need Before You Start
Your CSV should have at least one of:
- Professional profile URL (best match rate, e.g.,
https://www.linkedin.com/in/john-doe) - Full name + company name (e.g., “John Doe” + “Acme Corp”)
- Full name + country (e.g., “John Doe” + “France”)
A professional profile URL gives the highest match rate. Full name + company is a good fallback for contacts you don’t have URLs for.
Step 1: Sign Up for Datagma (Free)
Go to app.datagma.com/sign-up. No credit card required. The free plan includes 3 phone lookups/month, enough to test the quality before committing.
Step 2: Go to File Upload
From the dashboard, click File Upload (or go to /file-upload). This is Datagma’s batch enrichment feature, no API needed.
Step 3: Upload Your CSV
Upload your contact list CSV. Datagma supports standard CSV format with headers. Typical file structure:
first_name,last_name,linkedin_url,company
John,Doe,https://www.linkedin.com/in/john-doe,Acme Corp
Jane,Smith,https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-smith,Beta Inc
Step 4: Map Your Columns
Datagma will ask you to map your CSV columns to the input fields it uses:
- Professional profile URL → map to your
linkedin_urlcolumn - Full Name → map to
first_name+last_name(or a combined name column) - Company → map to your
companycolumn
If you have professional profile URLs, use them, they dramatically improve match rate.
Step 5: Select What to Enrich
Choose which data you want Datagma to add:
- ✅ Mobile phone number (direct mobile, no switchboards)
- ✅ Verified email address (optional, enrich both in one pass)
- ✅ WhatsApp detection (available on Popular+ plans)
Step 6: Download Your Enriched CSV
Datagma processes your file and returns a new CSV with the enriched columns added:
first_name,last_name,linkedin_url,company,phone,email
John,Doe,https://www.linkedin.com/in/john-doe,Acme Corp,+33612345678,john.doe@acme.com
Jane,Smith,https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-smith,Beta Inc,+442071234567,jane.smith@betainc.com
Contacts where no phone was found are returned with an empty phone column, you’re not charged for misses.
Expected Results
Based on Clay’s 2025 data tests (Datagma had the best single-provider mobile coverage, top 3 in every region):
| Region | Expected phone match rate |
|---|---|
| UK | ~40–55% |
| France | ~40–55% |
| Germany | ~35–50% |
| US | ~30–45% |
| APAC | ~35–50% |
Match rates vary by industry and seniority. C-level and VP-level contacts tend to have higher match rates than entry-level.

- Zapier (HTTP action)
