The Challenge
A lot of people come to me with the same problem:
“I have a list of websites, and I need to identify the CEO for each company on my list.”
Finding decision-makers is hard. Finding their contact details is harder. Doing it at scale (for 200 or 2,000 companies) without automation is nearly impossible.
In this article, I’ll show you how to find the contact details of any top executive in any company that uses a specific software or tool. But the same method works for any list of companies.
There are 3 steps:
- Find a list of target companies
- Identify the right people in those companies
- Find their email addresses and phone numbers
Already have your target accounts? If your starting point is a list of companies rather than a single one, read B2B company list: how to turn one into decision-maker contacts instead, it covers list building and bulk enrichment.
Step 1: Find Your Target Company List
Option A: Companies Using a Specific Technology
If your product integrates with or competes with another tool, companies that use that tool are your warmest leads.
Use tools like:
- BuiltWith or Wappalyzer, to find companies using a specific technology
- G2 Crowd : to find companies that have reviewed a competing product
- Sales Navigator : filter by technology used
Export the list as a CSV with company names and website domains.
Option B: Companies in Your ICP
Define your ICP criteria:
- Industry: SaaS, fintech, ecommerce
- Size: 50–500 employees
- Geography: US, UK, EU
Use Sales Navigator’s account filter to build the list. Export with the Datagma Chrome Extension.
Step 2: Identify the Right People
With your company list ready, you need to find the right contact at each company.
Using Datagma File Upload:
- Upload your CSV with company names and domains
- Set the job title filter: “CEO”, “Head of Sales”, “CTO”, “VP Marketing”, etc.
- Set a seniority filter if needed: C-level, VP, Director
Datagma searches professional networks and other sources to find the matching employee at each company, without you having to visit each profile.
For 200 companies, this takes about 3 minutes.
Step 3: Get Their Contact Details
Datagma enriches the identified contacts with:
- Verified email address (checked with NeverBounce)
- Direct mobile phone number (if available)
- professional profile URL
- Company data: headcount, funding, industry, tech stack
You download the enriched CSV and import it into your CRM or outreach tool.
Real Example: Finding HubSpot Integration Partners
Let’s say you work at a SaaS company that built a HubSpot integration, and you want to find companies using HubSpot who might want your integration.
- Find HubSpot users: use BuiltWith to get a list of companies running HubSpot
- Filter your ICP: keep only 50-500 employee companies in your target industry
- Find their Heads of RevOps or Marketing Ops: upload to Datagma with “Head of RevOps” as the title filter
- Get emails and phones: Datagma returns verified contacts
Result: a list of 300 decision-makers at companies already using HubSpot who are likely evaluating integration tools.
Tips for Better Results
- Domain > company name: if you have the website domain, always use it, it’s more precise
- Multiple title filters: search for “Head of Sales” AND “VP Sales” AND “Sales Director” to catch all variants
- Prioritize by company size: enrich company size first, then focus your title search on the highest-potential segments
